I flew into LA on wednesday the 18th of January via Auckland NZ. I shuttled it over to my hotel in Anaheim, and spent the dy hanging out with my mate Dan Gibney from Australia who is exhibiting at his first NAMM Show. It was a long day after travelling through the night with no sleep!
Thursday was day one of the show and it was off to a great start. I had some great jams at various booths, and met some great people. After the show, I went to see Israel Houghton and the Lakewood Church team who were performing at the Hilton hotel as part of a worship night. It was really great to hang out with those guys!
Here's som pics from Day one:) More to come tomorrow!
A week ago, we were in Denmark. Since then we've been in Slovakia, Budapest, Italy and now we're about to finish off this leg of the tour in London England. We've had a great time everywhere we've been and seen some amazing things during the worship nights that we've played at. Check out www.planetshakers.com/live for more updates and blogs from the other guys too.

I left home on May 1st and already it's the 10th and the last week has just flown by. I've lost count of the number of planes and airports we've been in. We started off flying from Sydney, then connected to Narita (Tokyo), Heathrow (London) then Zurich (Switzerland). We played in Zurich then drove to Karlsruhe in germany the next day. We played there, then bussed it up to Bremen, played there, then on to dusseldorf to play at a Willow Creek conference. I met Rob Bell there (I'm a big fan), and also spent some time with the willow creek crew from Chicago. Next we flew to Copenhagen and drove to a town 4 hours away called Herning. They were a passionate bunch and we had a great night there. The next morning we set off back to Copenhagen, but made it about half way before breaking down. We turned it into an extended lunch break then hired another van before continuing on to Copenhagen. We spent the night there, then flew to Heathrow to connect to Vienna then drive to Bratislava in Slovakia. We play here tomorrow night before heading to Budapest the next day. It all goes by very quickly, so I take a lot of photos so I can have a record of the cool places we travel to. The stand out thing to me though is the people who look after us. In every place I make friends with our hosts and meet lots of great people. Everyone has gone out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome, which inspires us to give more back to them in return. We're already planning next year's trip back to this part of the world, and I personally can't wait to do it again. More soon....
